Java Developer            2
Job Purpose:
Work as part of a team for developing an integration development environment.

Duties:
    Designs and develops an environment for integrating different interface tools together by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
    Integrates applications by working with other members of the development team to interface developed and/or third party comPONents which make up the solution.
    Defines objectives by working with development team lead, analysts, other developers, and quality assurance: analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
    Enhance and maintain components and interfaces.

Skills/Qualifications:
    It is better to know IBM Workbench.
    It is better to have cable broadcast network industry background.
    It is better to know MPEG, H.264, etc.
    Familiar with multiple kinds of network devices and have the experiences in network design and deployment.
    BS or M.S. or equivalent in computer science or related fields.
    3+ years experiences in Java
    Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English.
    Knowledgeable in database using, such as Oracle and MySQL.
    Excellent in Linux OS
    Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle.
    Knowledge of JBOSS
    Must be a self-motivated, innovative, hands-on and a good team player.

Sr. software engineer     4

Local On-demand Video department within Digital Video Solution business group is responsible for the implementation of China e2e solutions and some global productions. The primary objectives for our team are to create, deploy and manage high quality Cable VOD services, and to help the regional teams in the sales and launch of those services in the marketplace.

Duties:

*Defines objectives by working with development team lead, analysts, other developers, and quality assurance: analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.

Job Requirement:

*Specific Knowledge/Skills B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related engineering field
3 years + commercial software development (M.S. 1+ years)
Strong experience on  multi-threaded C++ programs in UNIX environments (Linux and Solaris) and TCP/IP sockets programs.
Understanding of HTTP, SNMP, and XML
MySQL and Oracle database experience are preferred
Ability to work independently, under extremely tight deadlines
Experience writing production quality C/C++ code

Job Purpose:
Work as a member of the Embedded VOD team in R&D and responsible for embedded VOD software components development and stabilization.

Job Duties:
    Defines objectives by working with development team lead, analysts, other developers, and quality assurance: analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
    Enhance and maintain components and interfaces.
    Designs and develops applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
    Integrates applications by working with other members of the development team to interface developed and/or third party components which make up the solution.
